This unique slab was combined with leopard wood shelves and a salvaged steel pipe from the local county scrap pile. The live edge of the slab contains “bowtie keys” or “butterfly keys” that emphasize the split in the wood, but also hold the pieces together. The steel is finished with wax and the wood is finished with tung oil.
